Digityze Media Group had the privilege to partner with the Town of Sellersburg to discuss their website needs. The town manager was excited to discuss the new brand identity and concept for the town of Sellersburg. From there, a great collaboration was born. Below we will contrast the current website and the proposed redesign.
When analyzing the differences between the Sellersburg website redesign to the current site, several key elements come to mind. The ALERT feature on the homepage of the redesign is a great update. It allows for pertinent information to be retrieved quickly and easily. The top of the current site has links, as opposed to the redesign which displays a current video of Sellersburg in action. The redesign does not fail to pay homage to the past while also connecting to the future.
The menu button on the redesign keeps the homepage clean and organized. One can find their desired destination easily. The redesign also allows for one to report an issue to the necessary department. This is a very important update for the residents of Sellersburg. They are able to quickly report issues which will lead to faster problem resolution.
The color scheme of the redesign is brighter, more vibrant, and a welcomed change. The white background looks clean and will allow users to see information on a cellphone, laptop, or tablet. The yellow highlighting adds vibrancy and aids in users seeing the necessary buttons and links. When clicking on other links the uniformity of the appearance and menu button will aid in making this site easy to navigate. In essence, the redesign is the more effective and more appealing version of the website for Sellersburg.
